Families will be treated to activities ranging from hayrides to seeing CALF?s livestock, making your own wind chimes, learning how to select meat at the market,?seeing how to trim a cow?s hooves, identifying weeds, information on fruit and vegetables that grow well in our climate, learning to just livestock and more! Don?t miss our plans for our new Outdoor Garden Classroom in the Where Your Food Comes From? School Garden.
Admission to Farm & Ranch Day is free, courtesy of Murdoch?s Ranch and Home Supply; hayrides are available for a nominal fee which helps support CALF?s mission of Connecting People to Agriculture.

Farm and Ranch Day will also feature activities and exhibits provided by Douglas County Division of Open Space and Natural Resources, Douglas County and Colorado Farm Bureau, Douglas County Garden Club, Douglas Land Trust, and others.? Historic tours will be given by the Douglas County Historical Society.
